By bringing together leaders, influencers, and passionate individuals, Her Planet Earth aims to generate significant financial support for grassroots initiatives that protect endangered ecosystems and uplift vulnerable communities, particularly women.
Additionally, Her Planet Earth’s advocacy work focuses on creating platforms for dialogue, raising awareness about the intersection of gender and climate issues, and inspiring actionable change on a global scale.
Through these efforts, Her Planet Earth effectively mobilises resources and attention to address the critical challenges facing our planet.

Tides of CHANGE
11 December at The Nanson Singapore
Join us on 11 December at The Nanson for Tide of Change: Indonesian Women Leading Reef Recovery, an intimate Her Planet Earth event in collaboration with Terra Goddesses, featuring Rose Huizenga, founder of Coral Catch. Through stories from the reefs of Lombok, Rose will share how Indonesian women are being trained as scientific divers and coral restorers, creating nature positive livelihoods while regenerating marine ecosystems. Guests will enjoy an evening of conversation, a short auction in support of Coral Catch, and the chance to connect with a community passionate about ocean protection and women’s leadership, with 100% of event proceeds going directly to Coral Catch’s work in Gili Air.

On June 17, 2025, Her Planet Earth hosted An Evening in the Himalayas at the Mandala Club in Singapore, featuring the premiere screening of the short documentary In the Land of Snow Leopards. Filmed in the remote mountains of Ladakh, Northern India, the film follows an all-female team of explorers and advocates on a winter expedition through snow leopard territory. Directed by acclaimed environmental filmmaker Hardik Contractor, the documentary highlights both the beauty and fragility of this region, showcasing the urgent need to protect biodiversity and cultural heritage in a rapidly warming world. Guests gathered over welcome drinks and light bites to celebrate the courage of women leading climate action on the frontlines.
The evening also featured a fireside panel discussion moderated by Her Planet Earth’s Founder and CEO, Christine Amour-Levar, with insights from the director and members of the expedition team. The conversation shed light on the vital work of the Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust, which partners with local communities to safeguard Himalayan wildlife through eco-tourism, education, and conservation initiatives. With proceeds directed to the Trust, the event embodied Her Planet Earth’s mission of combining adventure, advocacy, and environmental action to empower women and build climate resilience.

On 27 November 2024, Her Planet Earth hosted the premiere of Gobi Rising at the Singapore Sustainability Academy. The event brought together climate leaders, conservationists and sustainability professionals to celebrate the journey of 16 women across the Gobi Desert as they collaborated with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to promote sustainable herding practices and empower local women to lead climate action.
The evening began with opening remarks by Christine Amour-Levar, Founder and CEO of Her Planet Earth, and Esther An, Chief Sustainability Officer of City Developments Limited (CDL). A 20-minute screening of the Gobi Rising documentary followed, offering an inspiring view of community-driven environmental leadership in Mongolia.
The event also featured a panel discussion moderated by Christine Amour-Levar, with insights from award-winning filmmaker Jacqui Hocking and Yap Su-E, Corporate Engagement Director for APAC at TNC. Attendees had the chance to network, engage with thought leaders and learn more about TNC’s impactful work in Mongolia and beyond.
Gobi Rising spotlighted the resilience and influence of women leading climate action in vulnerable communities, inspiring collective action for sustainable futures.

Her Planet Earth hosted the 'Into the Blue' charity cocktail reception and film screening at Catapult in Singapore on October 24, 2023. The event, attended by 100 senior C-suite professionals and sponsored by LGT, raised SG $45k for the Sulubaaï Environmental Foundation's conservation efforts in the Philippines.
Timed with the International Day of Climate Action, the event aimed to raise awareness and funds for preserving and restoring natural resources in Palawan’s Marine Protected Area. Fred Tardieu, Founder of the Sulubaaï Environmental Foundation, highlighted the power of civil society to drive positive change.
Guests enjoyed LGT's private drinks collection, canapés from Karana, and a short film on a 360° panoramic screen. All proceeds support the Sulubaaï Environmental Foundation's coral restoration programs.

On April 12, 2018, Her Planet Earth partnered with Mountain Film & She Went Wild to celebrate Women in Adventure with the first Singapore screening of the Women's Adventure Film Tour.
The tour features inspiring short films showcasing extraordinary women in adventure, with a focus on the environment and heartwarming stories selected from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. Originally launched to a sold-out crowd in Sydney in May 2017, the Women's Adventure Film Tour made its Singapore debut, celebrating women who are pushing boundaries and embracing adventure.

On April 6, 2019, Her Planet Earth hosted The Lost World, a Vietnamese-themed charity event on the rooftop of Singapore's Indochine Supertree Restaurant. The event celebrated the team’s expedition to Son Doong Cave in Vietnam, the world's largest cave, with stories from their adventure and an auction of limited-edition prints by photographer Sandra Lim.
Extreme sportsman Thaddeus Lawrence also shared his experiences from the journey. The event raised nearly SG$50k for UN Women Vietnam, supporting rural women’s economic empowerment and resilience to climate change in one of the countries most affected by environmental degradation.

Paddle for the Planet is a global movement that unites paddlers worldwide in support of marine conservation through the Global Paddling Rally. This event features a coordinated relay, with simultaneous paddling events starting on the same day and time across different time zones, creating a continuous global effort. The initiative raises awareness and funds for marine conservation, specifically targeting “Marine Protected Areas” and “no-take zones” to preserve marine biodiversity and sustain our oceans.

On March 22, 2018, Her Planet Earth partnered with 100 Women Doing Good to celebrate International Women's Day with the WOMEN IN EXPLORATION event at ParkRoyal on Pickering, Singapore. Sponsored by Brian Gillies of Globaleye Financial Advisory, the event aimed to raise awareness and funds for charities focused on climate action and women’s empowerment.
Beneficiaries included Zero Waste Singapore, the Singapore Committee for UN Women, AWARE Singapore, and the UN’s #WomenLeadClimateAction programme in Cambodia, which educates and empowers underprivileged women in rural areas to build climate resilience.
The event raised over SG$ 17k, adding to the SG$ 15k previously raised by Her Planet Earth’s Antarctic expedition team, who chose Antarctica to highlight the urgent environmental challenges facing our planet.

In September 2019, the Africa Society of Singapore and Her Planet Earth teamed up to raise over SG$130k for wildlife conservation and female empowerment in North Kenya. Funds were raised through a 200-person charity ball at the Grand Hyatt Singapore and an upcoming all-female expedition to trek 100km across Northern Kenya's Karisia Hills in October.
The expedition, guided by local experts, will navigate challenging terrain and varied altitudes. All proceeds will support Conservation International's projects in North Kenya, including the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, eco-tourism expansion, and a mobile anti-poaching team.

On 16 October 2025 at Arcc Spaces was the Singapore premiere of Voices from the Terraces, Her Planet Earth’s latest short documentary. Directed by Victoria Sim, the film follows an all-female team through the Ifugao rice terraces and Mt. Pulag, highlighting indigenous women leading climate action. The evening included a screening, fireside conversation, and networking, with proceeds supporting Conservation International Philippines.
