THROUGH OUR EXPEDITIONS AND MEANINGFUL JOURNEYS, WE BUILD THE CLIMATE RESILIENCE OF DISADVANTAGED WOMEN BY FUNDING PROGRAMS IN WILDLIFE CONSERVATION, CORAL RESTORATION AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

Climate change is not just an environmental catastrophe, it is also a human rights issue. Rapid climate change intensifies existing inequalities, from food and water insecurity to displacement and health risks, and it disproportionately affects women and marginalised communities. When basic rights to safety, livelihood, education, and participation are undermined by climate impacts, it becomes a human rights issue as well as an environmental one.

Her Planet Earth aims to empower women to become policymakers and agents of change to achieve social and economic equity and a healthy and thriving planet.

Why it Matters
Women play pivotal roles in their communities and are responsible for securing not only food but also water and energy resources, as a result, they bear a disproportionate burden in the face of climate change. As a result, one of the best ways to mitigate climate change is to empower women, and help them build livelihoods that are eco-friendly and in harmony with nature.

WE BELIEVE WOMEN ARE GAMECHANGERS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND SOLUTIONS TO MOVE THE NEEDLE ON SUSTAINABILITY

Our strategy focuses on organising and promoting impactful campaigns and activities that increase the visibility of our movement. Our aim is to raise funds for programs that empower and educate underprivileged women, while actively engaging them in environmental issues and conservation efforts.

We collaborate with a diverse network of nature enthusiasts, environmentalists, polar explorers, adventurers, women’s rights advocates, feminists, and NGOs.

Together, we work to build a stronger connection between gender equality, sustainable development, and environmental protection.

Her Planet Earth also offers eco-tourism experiences for community-driven conservation initiatives. We curate immersive experiences, roundtable discussions, and networking events for sustainability leaders and impact investors across the Asia-Pacific region, fostering meaningful dialogue and action towards a more sustainable future.

MOUNTAIN TO SEA, JAPAN - OCT 2026

This extraordinary expedition will bring together 12 women from around the world for a breathtaking 80 km “Mountain to Sea” adventure across the remote countryside of Kyoto Prefecture in Japan. Over seven unforgettable days, we will journey on historic pilgrim and merchant trails through ancient forests, mountain passes, thatched-roof hamlets and mossy stone paths - eventually reaching Amanohashidate, known as one of Japan’s three most scenic views.

More than just a trek, this journey blends physical challenge with meaningful purpose. Our team aims to raise US$50,000 in support of Conservation International’s seaweed restoration and women-led blue-economy projects in Fiji - directly empowering coastal communities and strengthening climate resilience.

Along the way, we will stay in character-filled traditional inns — many run by multi-generation families — experiencing the true warmth of rural Japan while supporting small local communities. Optional participants may also join a rare pre-trip experience with the Ama free divers, Japan’s legendary women who have practiced sustainable breath-hold diving for centuries.

By taking on this challenge, our team will immerse themselves in Japan’s natural and cultural beauty — from bamboo forests and mountain ridgelines to sacred shrines and coastal villages — while contributing to impactful conservation initiatives that uplift women and protect our planet’s fragile marine ecosystems.

BHUTAN - MAR 2026

We begin the year with a profound leadership experience in the Kingdom of Bhutan, co-created with our long-standing partners at Temasek’s Stewardship Asia Centre. Set against the dramatic Himalayan landscape, this journey explores Bhutan’s unique development philosophy of Gross National Happiness - a national commitment to balancing environmental protection with cultural preservation, good governance and equitable growth.

Participants will trek through high-altitude trails, visit sacred sites, and engage in rich dialogue on stewardship, mindful leadership and climate resilience alongside local thought leaders. Bhutan’s deep reverence for nature makes it an extraordinary classroom for reflection, renewal and purpose-led action.

FIJI - MAY 2026

In May, we travel to Fiji for an ocean-centred expedition focused on women’s empowerment and blue-economy innovation. Guided by Conservation International, we will spend time with a women-led seaweed farming cooperative pioneering sustainable livelihoods for coastal communities.

Through hands-on learning, reef walks, hiking, snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) and cultural exchange, participants will witness how nature-based solutions are restoring ecosystems, strengthening resilience and expanding economic opportunity for women in the Pacific Islands.
